Got a couple more attempts in on Hodir before going and taking down Razorscale and Ignis.
We will be revisiting our healing strategy on Hodir before our next attempt. Raid lockout has been extended to give us more time on Hodir, and to try Thorim and Freyja.
Healer wise we've tried with 2 shammies and a pally, a priest, pally druid, umm 2 druids and a pally, and I think 2 pallies and a shammy or druid I can't remember
I know sometimes you have to go with what's on but imo 1 pally is probably all you need, if u can bring a druid, shammy and pally that would be ideal(or a priest in place of the shammy); keeping the shammy on the raid, the pally on the tank and the druid hots on the tank and raid. The oweness is on the raid to keep the biting cold off themselves, not stand in the freezing rain and not get frozen so the dps has to waste time dps'ing them out. The oweness is also on the dps to get the npc's out and use the buff's they give to maximize their dps. AOE healing is key here but dps needs to be smart and not take uneccessary damage while maximizing the buffs they have to make the fight shorter.
I guess what I'm saying in all of this is look at your heals, but look harder at your dps and make sure they're doing their job as well.
